The Junior curriculum at Somerset Academy is thoughtfully crafted to offer a crucial phase of skill consolidation and development. It aligns with the Ministry of Education guidelines, bolstered by specific instruction in organization, independent work, and the utilization of a study and homework log.

Our curriculum is strategically designed to provide students with a robust foundation in various subjects, including Mathematics, Language Arts, Science, History, Geography, French, Art, Music, Physical Education, Health, and the option of an elective Mandarin course. 

In line with our commitment to individualized attention, we maintain small class sizes ranging from as few as 8 students to a maximum of 18 students per class. This allows every student to fully unlock their potential.
